Teri Spiro

Being a realtor means being a member of your Local, State, and National Association of Realtors and abiding by the code of ethics. Since her first year in this business, Teri became active in their local association. Committee background includes education, public policy, and government affairs. In 2001, she was elected President of their local association and was the Realtor of the Year. She’s served on the Board of Directors for both the Michigan Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors and chaired committees for both associations. Teri is President of the Greater Metropolitan Association of Realtors, the largest local board of Realtors in MI, with over eleven thousand members.

She believes being a Real Estate professional means more than just selling homes. The Realtor associations strongly advocate for protecting all citizens' private property rights. They are the legislative "watchdog" for all Real Estate and mortgage financing issues and most regulatory issues in this arena.
