Terrence Maitland

Terry is annually one of LandVest’s top producers, and his performance regularly places him in the first rank of brokers in Greater Boston. He has achieved record-breaking sales in communities including Boston, Cambridge, Brookline, Belmont, Lincoln, Weston and Concord. The Boston Globe featured him as a real estate “Power Broker,” and he was profiled in Broker Agent magazine. His opinions and views on real estate and real estate markets regularly appear in the regional and national press. During his 30-year career, Terry has achieved total sales of over $1 billion.

He is a Realtor and member of the Professional Standards Committee of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board, which arbitrates broker disputes. He is a director of LandVest, Inc, and has served as Chairman of the employee-owned company.

A graduate of Holy Cross College (concentration in English), Terry also holds a Master's degree in Journalism from Boston University and certificates from Belgium’s Louvain University and Harvard University Extension where he studied Administration and Management. He came to LandVest from the field of journalism and history. He has written for publications such as The New York Times Book Review, Newsweek, The Boston Globe and Boston Magazine, and is the co-author of five volumes of history in the Time-Life Books series The Vietnam Experience.

A longtime volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, the Fuller Center for Housing and the Sierra Club, he has performed service trips in the United States and abroad. He has also served for 20 years on the Conservation Commission in Acton, and currently acts as Chair.
