Personal Background
Thomas was born in Glenview, IL and moved to Winnetka in 1969, where he resided for 20 years. Thomas attended Crow Island, Skokie School, Washburne Jr. High, and New Trier High School. He was very active in sports and still finds enjoyment in golfing, biking, fishing, and swimming. Thomas is a member of the Highland Park CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) assisting the police department with special events, including The Taste of Highland Park and art fairs, along with traffic control for Ravinia Festival. Thomas and his two children live in Highland Park. They enjoy taking advantage of all the amenities and cultural events that the North Shore has to offer.
