Tim Burkard

Tim Burkard is the Managing Member of Burkard Homes, LLC, a Maryland-based residential homebuilder specializing in high-quality new construction. He is a senior operations and financial executive with nearly 20 years of progressive leadership experience across both publicly traded and privately held homebuilding organizations.

At Burkard Homes, Tim provides strategic oversight across operations, finance, sales, and long-term growth initiatives. Prior to founding Burkard Homes in 2009, he served as Division President for Richmond American Homes, where he led the Maryland division with full responsibility for land acquisition, sales, construction, finance, marketing, purchasing, design, and customer service. His leadership included managing large, multidisciplinary teams and overseeing substantial divisional revenues.

Earlier in his career, Tim held senior financial leadership roles including Vice President of Finance at Richmond American Homes, Senior Vice President at Bob Ward Companies, and Controller for the Maryland Division of Trafalgar House Residential. He began his professional career at KPMG, managing financial audits for public and private companies and delivering executive-level financial and operational insights.
