My husband and I were young buyers. We were living in an apartment ready to purchase a home for ourselves. Tim McBrayer was our realtor for our home buying experience. Tim is extraordinarily kind, patient, and he will always be honest with you. There were times where he’d find a few homes for us and get us to a showing or an open house that exact day. We found our dream home and we realized that the builder we went with was building in Durham, NC! We ended up buying a lot there. Tim was there throughout the whole building experience. He was there to make sure everything was built correctly and gave us home advise as well!
It was almost time for our closing date and we got hit with a delay with the builders leaving us homeless for about two months. Tim never left us hanging. He offered us to stay in his own home so they could finish building. It’s kind gestures such as this that made the home buying experience worth it. We couldn’t do this without him and we are so grateful!

Tim McBrayer was a HUGE help for me. As a hesitant first time home buyer, I had many fears and questions that made me reluctant to buy. Tim was not only extremely patient with me, but answered all of my questions and helped put me at ease. He was also a consultant for me, rather than a pushy realtor that pushed me into making an offer just so that he/she could make a sale and move on. After several months and countless houses viewed, we finally settled on a home and I owe it all to Tim. On top of it all, Tim continues to stay in touch and help me in any way that he can, even if it's not to his benefit. I had an issue with my HOA over a fence that was here before I even purchased the home. He was there for me every step of the way and spent time digging up as much information as he could to help me with my claim. He also even volunteered to come to a board meeting and assist me as best as he could. If I could give Tim 10 stars I would. I HIGHLY recommend him!

Recently we closed on a house and we are very happy that we had Tim as our realtor! He is very quick in responding. We are not from around and we were trying to find the house remotely. So whenever we asked Tim that we liked the house and could you please show the house over the FaceTime or video tape it for us, the same day he used to make it sure to do it for us no matter how busy he was. I remember one time talking to him over the phone until 12.30 in the night and again next day early morning him going to the house to video tape it for us. Never seen any other realtor so quick in response and with so much dedication. When my husband contacted bunch of realtors in the area, he was the first person saying yes I could help you find your house remotely. Before finalizing on the area we decided to make a quick trip to NC and despite the short notice he made all the arrangements to show us the houses which we liked. We never heard a no from him! I would say in this crazy sellers market where good houses are going off the market in 1 or 2 days, we could finally find ours only because of Tim's fast actions. And he didn't stop helping us just right after the closing, but the day when we finally moved here and drove to our new house at 10pm in the night, he was waiting for us with the house keys, as we couldn't collect them earlier. Several other times also he has helped us on the personal level too. So I would say he is not just the best realtor but a very nice and kind person too. I would highly recommend Tim if anyone needs a realtor!

Tim McBrayer was our buyers’ agent for our recent new home purchase - as first time home buyers, we had many questions about the process, and Tim was incredibly responsive from beginning to end. He got us a showing for a very competitive property we were very excited about on the same day, talked us through the mechanics of the offer process that evening, helped negotiate more time for us to consider our offer with the sellers’ agent and then helped us submit a competitive offer the next day. Our offer was accepted by noon the day after we saw the house. He recommended great vendors for home inspection, helped us set up the appointments and gave us great council on the results. He went beyond what we would ever expect from a realtor agent. When repairs would be required to the home, Tim arranged for the best company to fix the issues. We were on an accelerated schedule to close on this house. If you are in the same position as we were, buying a home from out of state, go with Tim. If you want great results, go with Tim McBrayer. From the moment I read about him on-line, I had a gut feeling that he's a proactive realtor. At the time, I was living in NJ and got multiple offers on my home at the first open house - one of which I accepted. I was shocked at how everything happened so fast, and knew I had no time to waste. I called Tim, and explained my situation and what I was looking for in the Triangle Area. He truly listened, and sent me surveys to help narrow down my needs and wants. Tim also sent links for homes that met my criteria, and answered my questions/concerns. wanted to put our house on the market. We opted not to, but we did work with Tim to purchase a plot of land in the area. The whole process of buying land was extremely smooth because Tim has wonderful connections in the triangle area from everything from loan officers, to lawyers to builders to architects. When it came time to sell our home a year later, we didn’t want to work with anyone but Tim. We had a ton of questions about the process, and Tim was extremely professional and prompt in getting back to us. Both my husband and I travel 80% of the time for work and Tim did his best to accommodate our schedules from meeting on the weekends, working through email and text, and taking the lead on certain tasks when our schedules wouldn’t allow for it. Tim helped us to develop the strategy to sell our home. We worked with many of his connections and were able to get it on the market in 2 weeks. It sold within 21 days on the market very close to our full asking price. Given Tim’s professionalism, great communication skills, and willingness to go above and beyond for us, we would certainly work with him again and recommend him to anyone moving into the area.

Tim is a close friend who I have known for as long as I can remember (literally). My wife and I recently moved back into the area and were thrilled to have Tim's help in purchasing out first home. Based on the reviews I read on a different website, I decided to cold call Tim to assist in the sale of a townhouse in Cary, NC. Although contacting him through the webform on Yelp did not work, his phone number was easily available, and he was very responsive to my phone call. We purchased our townhouse (Pebble Creek II, Kildaire Farms) in 2000. We moved out in 2002, right as the tech bubble burst. Unable to sell in that market, we rented it. Knowing that we had not seen the house in almost 15 years, we knew that we would have to find someone who was willing to do a lot of legwork for us, as we no longer lived in North Carolina. From October 2016 until the sale in March 2017, Tim worked tirelessly to bring the home to a saleable condition. Given the demand for all types of construction and renovation work, we were completely reliant on Tim's established contacts for everything from a general contractor to locating low-priced granite countertops. By the time he was finished and we visited to hold an open house in February 2017 when we went to market, the townhouse was in significantly better condition than when we had purchased it. We received several offers and were able to close by the end of March. We worked with several members of the Jim Allen Group who specialized in different areas of the closing process. If you are reading reviews in order to select an agent to assist you in the purchase or sale of a home, I urge you to consider Tim. His experience, expertise, and outstanding resources mean that you receive answers and professional solutions quickly. He is kind, respectful, and honest, and he uses those qualities to your benefit.

Tim exceeded the high expectations we had going in, based on his experience and recommendations from others. Our purchase required numerous inspection and many repairs. Tim stayed on top of the whole process, meeting the inspectors and contractors at the house, and keeping us informed throughout. I can only guess how many trips he made to the property, including one at 8 PM the night before closing to make sure the fireplace was fixed! Tim has been very efficient, professional, polite and friendly. My situation has been quite unique and difficult as I had to sell two properties of my brother’s Estate. We put both properties on the market during Covid-19 outbreak so it was impossible for me to be physically in NC as I live in London. Therefore Tim was asked to do a very difficult job. He had to run to the properties some times two times a day to check the main residence or check why the alarm went off. Crazy times. We couldn't have been happier to have someone as responsive, hard-working, honest, diligent as Tim in our search. It was, as for many, a relocation from NJ to NC and because of family and job commitments I could not come down as much as I'd have liked and Tim did a wonderful job of reassuring us that he has helped many such clients in the past and that this can be easily done remotely using FaceTime and/or recording the videos of houses. He made the videos available almost immediately as well, in addition to sorting out all our concerns asap and that really helped us have an edge since its been a hugely biased sellers market where houses are going off in a day or two and that too above asking prices (especially in Cary, Apex, Holly Springs, Morrisville).
His knowledge and honesty were also very evident when it was time to make an offer and deal with the daunting task of getting things properly set up for the closing.

I strongly recommend Tim as your next Real Estate Agent. We recently moved from TN to the Raleigh area. Not knowing the area was a real challenge. Tim showed us what areas were best based on what style of living we were looking for. He helped us understand what the various areas offered, tax base, and growth potential.
