About Tim

Tim Ney is a San Diego Native and proudly served for eight years in the United States Marine Corps at C Co. 1st Blt 3rd Marines, A Co. 3rd Reconnaissance Battalion, and 1st Force Reconnaissance Company. Tim has a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Chapman University, a Black Belt Lean Six Sigma certificate from the University of California San Diego, and an Executive MBA from San Diego State University.

Tim Ney started his real estate career in May of 2002 at Prudential California Realty, now Berkshire Hathaway Home Services, and was awarded Honor Society for two consecutive years. In 2007, Tim and his real estate team moved to Keller Williams Carmel Valley / Del Mar. Tim obtained his residential broker’s license in 2010 and founded KAYA Realty. Tim brings a tremendous amount of experience to first time buyers, executive relocation, military specialist, and the luxury market with over 18 years of residential real estate experience and over $140Mil in closed transactions. His focus is on providing a customer experience that exceeds all expectations. Tim is passionate about serving his customers and community.

Tim’s community efforts include supporting the North County Community Services, Feeding San Diego, and the Armed Services YMCA San Diego. Additionally Tim serves on the San Diego Food Bank Advisory Board, UCSD Extension Continuous Improvement Advisory Board, Military and Veterans Affairs and Workforce and Education Committee at the San Diego Chamber, and the U.S. Coast Guard Committee.
