He participates in their community through civic and charitable organizations as well as having taken leadership roles within the Realtor organizations in this area and in Portland. He has served as President of the Clatsop Association of Realtors twice and he has spent 13 years on its' Board of Directors. These experiences make him proud of what he does as a realtor for his clients and for our communities at large. He was honored to be named Realtor of the Year in 1997.

As a native Oregonian and a graduate of the University of Oregon ( Go Ducks! ), he is also proud of what the state has to offer, especially the beautiful coast.
