Timmy Mattos

Tim was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii and moved to the Wyoming Valley area in 2013. He attended college and graduate school in Southern California majoring in Political Science and Theater Arts. In graduate school he studied law while also obtaining his teaching credential in Secondary education. Tim also attended Wilkes University and earned a Master of Science in Special Education. He is currently a high school special education teacher and a professional standup comedian with over 22 years of comedy experience. Tim has done comedy all across the Hawaiian Islands, Guam, California, Las Vegas and Pennsylvania. Recently Tim was voted as one of the top five comedians in the area by the Times Leader's Best of the Best 2025 awards and continues to perform in shows all across the NEPA area.
