Timothy Gilmartin

Tim Gilmartin has been a top selling Real Estate Agent in San Mateo County since 1983. Tim has represented buyers and sellers on all types of properties including single-family owner-occupied homes, small to large apartment buildings, retail, and industrial and office properties. Tim holds the designation as a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) of the National Association of Realtors. Tim served as president of the Northern California Chapter of the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute in1991.

Tim is the President of the Gilmartin Group Real Estate Company. The company has its roots in San Mateo County reaching back to 1971. Over the past 45 years The Gilmartin Group has closed well over 6,000 transactions.

Along with being a full time Realtor and President of the Gilmartin Group Real Estate Company, Tim also heads Sharevest Property Management Company LLC and is a professor of real estate at the College of San Mateo. Tim has taught one class per semester since 1993. Tim’s rotation of classes is: Real Estate Economics, Commercial/Investment Property Analysis, Real Estate Appraisal, Real Estate Management, and Real Estate Finance.

Away from real estate Tim likes to combine his two favorite passions: family and golf. As a member of Green Hills Country Club in Millbrae, Tim enjoys golfing with his wife Patty, dinning with his daughters and their families, or swimming with his three grandsons in the beautiful pool.

Tim is born and raised in San Mateo County and has intimate knowledge of most neighborhoods throughout the county.
