About Tina

Working in this beautiful part of the world makes Tina feel like the luckiest person. The Northeast Kingdom of Vermont is rural, gorgeous, remote and perfect. She has had her real estate license since 1979 and started Big Bear RE with her mom back in 1988. She's since retired, and the Bears' Den now consists of the amazing family they've established in their little office.

Tina finds it so satisfying to help first time buyers realize the dream of home ownership and helping someone find the perfect piece of heaven just for them and their families. The process can be daunting, but years of experience can soften the edges and make things run smoothly.

She is happy to give teddy bears at the closings to both buyers and sellers. At Christmas time, she makes her famous chocolate walnut fudge and delivers it to customers and clients along with a bear ornament. It's a fun tradition and something she loves to do. The best compliment she can ever receive is a referral. Over the years, it seems that her office has had lots of repeat business. She is so happy to admit that some of her favorite people and best friends started as customers and/or clients.

Tina has been Realtor of the Year in 1997 and 2007 for the Orleans County Board of Realtors. She is the local Director for the Vermont Realtors and has been actively involved with local and state positions.
