The short of it:
I highly recommend Tom Hevey. What a joy to work with!

The long:
My wife and I spent a couple years looking for our home. At times, we were highly motivated, at others not so much. Throughout the entirety of our search, Tom Hevey remained consistently helpful, encouraging, supportive, and informative.
Tom was patient with us, attending numerous open houses and showings. He worked around our busy schedules. He remembered details about our lives, taking stock of preferences and needs. Despite the stress of our home search, we looked forward to meeting with Tom because of his pleasant nature and market knowledge.
When we finally came across the home that we would (in short time) end up owning, the difference maker was clearly Tom. From the initial showing to the closing, and even afterwards, there was a two month period where we communicated with Tom almost daily. He walked us through the whole process, gave strong advise and provided helpful structure, often times needing to repeat himself (to me, not my wife!) He did it all with patience and grace.
I truly believe that without Tom, we would not currently be homeowners and we would've given up on our home search. If you are looking for an agent, I wholeheartedly recommend Tom Hevey.

We worked with Tom to buy our first home and I can't emphasize enough what a positive experience we had. In a housing marketing that can feel cut-throat, Tom was a pillar or knowledge and calm for us. He listened thoughtfully to what we were looking for in a home, made sure we were aware of listings that met our criteria, and was incredibly responsive when we were interested in viewing a home or had questions about a listing. We never felt pressured into making an offer; instead we felt like we had a supporter who had our best interests at heart. When we saw the listing of our ideal home, Tom set up a pre-open house viewing within 24 hours. He helped us navigate the process for making an offer, which was ultimately accepted amidst several other competitive offers. As we continued through the closing process, multiple people commented on how great our agent (Tom) was to work with. He went above and beyond by being communicative, drafting a timeline for us to keep track of the significant dates in our closing process, and by sending us information about our new town. We highly, highly recommend Tom to anyone who is looking to buy a home – especially first-time homebuyers.

From the start Tom was invested in learning about the Property and brushing up on his knowledge of the area and Holliston. He probed me for insights and conversed with me about all the Town had to offer, doing extensive research on his own, even sharing information with me that I wasn't aware of. He incorporated all of this knowledge into his sales plan and did an excellent job of presenting my property. Tom kept me up to speed and in the loop during the entire process and took the sale of my house head on, reducing my stress during this transition.
