Tom has been a proud resident of Portland for more than 50 years. He grew up in NE Portland's Roseway Neighborhood and attended Portland Public Schools finishing at Madison High School ( Now McDaniel HS). From there he went on to study Business, Marketing and Economics at Portland State University. It was while attending PSU that Tom discovered his passion for real estate and was recommended for his first position in the field by his then Sales & Marketing Professor, the legendary Mr. Jack Taylor, Jr.. Tom began in commercial real estate, then went on to be mentored in the residential real estate field by some of Portland's most experienced and successful residential real estate brokers at Township Properties in NE Portland's Hollywood district. From there Tom founded his own local real estate company, Millennium Properties, which he grew and successfully ran for 15 years. From 2016 to 2019 Tom was part of the top producing Lloyd Tower Office of Windermere Realty Trust, one of the most successful and prestigious real estate organizations in Portland, and throughout the Northwest. Tom has now launched Portlock Properties and partnered with local powerhouse brokerage MORE Realty, an affiliate of the national level United Real Estate Group. Tom is a devoted husband of over 30 years to his wife Rena. Rena, a 4th generation Oregonian, is the proverbial “girl next door”. Tom and Rena grew up just 5 blocks from one another! You may spot Rena on your next PDX flight as one of Alaska Airline's friendly flight attendants. Rena and Tom have raised their 3 wonderful children in the city of Portland, and each is now living, working and thriving in their home town! Tom spends his free time enjoying Portland's fantastic food, sporting event, and live music scene, as well as immersing himself in the incredible natural beauty of the Northwest landscape. Tom has achieved a long and successful career in Portland Real Estate by adhering to the highest standard of integrity, and always putting his client's interest above all!
