Originally from the northwestern North Carolina mountains, Tommy moved to Raleigh in 1997. He discovered that the Triangle area not only offers a good southern meal but also a rich and diverse culture. An active community member, he volunteers at his church, with the Knights of Columbus, and leads or promotes various charitable organizations. In his personal time, Tommy enjoys attending local baseball or hockey games, traveling, hiking, and fly-fishing.
