I'm Tommy Evans, a Missoula real estate professional with Missoula Realty, working at the intersection of real estate, business, and investment.
I represent residential buyers and sellers across Western Montana, with a particular focus on entrepreneurs, small-business owners, emerging operators, and investors.
A lot of my favorite conversations don't start with, “I'm ready to buy a property.” They start with:
“I have this crazy idea…”
“We found a restaurant space…”
“My friend and I are thinking about opening something…”
“There's this building…”
“I'm not sure if we can finance it…”
If that's where you are, call or text me.
You don't need the transaction figured out before calling. That's often exactly when you should.
Maybe you don't know where to begin. Maybe you've found the right opportunity but don't have the purchase price sitting in savings. Most people don't. Deals can involve financing, investment capital, partnerships, lease structures, seller participation, and other tools worth exploring before anyone knows whether an opportunity is viable.
My job isn't to tell you every idea can—or should—become a deal. It's to help you understand the opportunity, ask the right questions, connect the moving pieces, and determine whether there's a realistic path forward that advances your goals and protects your interests.
My commercial work has included restaurant opportunities—from food trucks to full-service brick-and-mortar operations—as well as retail, commercial leasing, business and equipment acquisitions tied to real estate, and investment-property analysis. I especially enjoy working with the next generation of entrepreneurs and investors pursuing a first location, expansion, or next acquisition.
I was born and raised in Missoula, and real estate has been part of my life long before I became licensed. My mom has worked in the business here since 2008. Before and alongside real estate, I built experience in operations, technology, engineering, and management. That background shapes how I evaluate a deal and the practical details that can make or break one.
Residential clients get that same level of involvement. Whether you're buying your first home, selling, relocating, or evaluating an investment property, my approach is built around direct communication, strong advocacy, and personalized representation.
And if you're wondering whether you really need an agent in 2026, that's a fair question. You can find listings, research properties, review sales data, and tour homes online without me.
Information is everywhere. Representation is not.
You don't hire me because you can't find the property. You hire me because once you've found it, someone should be in your corner whose job is to protect your interests. I know what questions to ask, what problems commonly surface, when something deserves a closer look, when another professional needs to be brought in, how to preserve your leverage, and how to help you avoid expensive mistakes.
The internet can show you a property. It cannot represent you, negotiate for you, manage deadlines and contingencies, or bring years of local context and transaction experience to the decisions in front of you.
Missoula Realty is an independent, locally owned brokerage. You get local representation, direct access, and an agent engaged throughout your transaction.
So if you've got a house to buy, a property to sell, a business location you're considering, an investment you're evaluating—or just a crazy idea and no clue where to begin—call or text me.
