Tony Lee

Tony has a very unique personal and professional history and thrive on growing and cultivating relationships with others. Whether their focus is on personal or business relationships, their goal is to learn and bring substance to their conversations, aiming to positively impact all humans from diverse backgrounds, while absorbing new experiences daily.

His younger years were spent in Atlanta, GA., Houston, TX., and Oak Ridge, TN. They graduated with a Business degree from The University of Tennessee in 1999 and earned a commission (and their 2nd Lieutenant bars) into the United States Air Force (USAF). During over 8 years in service, he developed leadership skills and a global perspective, leading people of all races, genders, ethnicities, and backgrounds in a variety of military logistics functions. About 60% of their military experience was spent internationally in Central America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. He also spent 1 year broadening their career as an Assistant Professor of Aerospace Studies at The Ohio State University.

One memory that steers his ship even today happened while stationed in Phoenix, Arizona, in 2001. Master Sergeant (MSgt) Sara Joyce asked them, “What are you doing with all of that big officer money, Lieutenant?” and Tony had no impressive answer. That was a momentous occasion for him when they started paying attention to how his money could actually grow while he sleeps. Feeling both appreciative and embarrassed, being behind the power curve, he opened a ROTH IRA account that very day. Tony also decided that when the time was right, he would make it a priority to expedite the dissemination of this beneficial life guidance to impressionable young students. The same principle applies to investing in a home, an investment property, or a business.

He caught the real estate bug during their last assignment in Columbus, Ohio (in 2006), and within a year, they bought, owned, and managed 4 properties. Today, they earn passive income from investment properties they own and rent out to college students, young professionals, and families. They also own, manage, and market an AirBnB, which provides them with a short-term rental perspective, offering guests an experience surpassing what a hotel can provide. They have been to the closing table 9 times for their personally bought or sold properties, which grants them the ability to connect with first-time and seasoned buyers/sellers.

Over a few decades, their life resume, combined with the wisdom injected by professionals like MSgt Joyce 18 years ago, has developed into a home ownership, property management, business, and investment-inspired serum that they share with young people and families every chance he gets. He eagerly anticipates showing young people and families an alternative to paying off other people's mortgages and helping others achieve their financial independence through ownership of residential, commercial, and investment properties.
