Totney has been in the real estate industry in a variety of capacities for over 30 years, many of them working on new construction offerings in the Fairfield County area. A resident of Fairfield County for over 41 years, Totney has an in-depth knowledge of communities and their personalities and loves helping clients find the community best suited to their needs.

Totney has an MBA from the Wharton School in Philadelphia with a focus on Finance and Marketing. She worked for Touche Ross Consulting, General Foods, and The Nestle Company before becoming involved in Real Estate. She worked closely with her husband, developer Rick Benson of RB Benson & Co to develop single-family new construction in Westport, Weston, Fairfield, and Norwalk and condominiums in Fairfield County.
