I’m proud to say that I grew up in the Barbecue township of western Harnett county and over the years, I’ve watched this area flourish with a healthy influx of people from many backgrounds. It only stands to get better, and that’s good for everyone – especially families. My exposure to real estate goes back to my days as a youth. My late father was a builder/developer and I learned so much from him about quality, integrity and honesty. I have built a wide variety of structures – from residential to commercial – and I’ve worked closely with military families with on base housing at Fort Bragg. As a real estate agent, I’ve have assisted many clients and their families with buying or selling their homes throughout our region.
I’m a product of the education system here, which prepared me well for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and, ultimately, East Carolina University, which is known nationally for its Construction Management curriculum. I earned my bachelor’s degree in that program in 2001 and have worked in the construction and real estate fields ever since.
I am an active member of the North Carolina Masons and a Shriner where I contribute to Shriners Hospitals for Children through my parade unit The Sudan Racers. Following in my fathers footsteps I became the third member of my family, following my brother, to serve as the President of the Sanford Area Home Builders Association.
