About Tsung-Megason
As a former litigation attorney, Bernadine understands the importance of being a resource to and aggressively advocating for her clients. She describes her style as being cheerful, calm and reasoned. She also prides herself on her dedication and loyalty to her clients. Bernadine believes that listening to her clients is the most important thing she can do. Once she understands what her clients want, she pairs that knowledge with comprehensive market analyses to help her buyers and sellers make the very best decisions for them, and their lives. Bernadine knows that for most people, the purchase and sale of real estate is the largest transaction they will ever make, and when it comes to making the best decisions, facts matter.
Through real estate, Bernadine is able to put the analysis and negotiation skills she honed as an attorney to work in ways that are always positive.
Bernadine developed her love of real estate at an early age. She grew up watching This Old House on WGBH, and one of her favorite books is Dreaming in the Dust by Katherine Chrisman, which recounts a New England couple’s restoration of their Victorian home. An early fascination with DIY restoration was nipped in the bud by a project that required scraping paint off old window muntin. After a couple of long weekends of scraping, and scraping, and scraping some more, that project was scrapped. Today, Bernadine fuels her interest in renovation by scouring houzz.com for ideas, and mls.com for inspiration, but she leaves the actual renovation work to the professionals.
In her spare time, Bernadine is an avid cook and believes in the kind of community organization that leads to block parties and lots of neighborhood potlucks. Bernadine also loves to garden, although this love does not always translate into success (or living plants).
Bernadine is a graduate of Lexington High School, U.C. Berkeley, and UCLA Law School. Prior to moving to Boston, she was a litigation attorney Los Angeles was the principal of her own law. Bernadine lives in Brookline with her husband Sean, their three children (ages 10, 8 and 6) and their five rescue dogs and cats.
