Buying your first home can be challenging, even more so when you live out of state. Not only did Vincent made this process easier on us, but he went above and beyond expectations. My husband has Multiple Sclerosis and since we live in a Philadelphia row house we have two sets of steps and we thought moving to a ranch style house with no steps would be a good idea. Needless to say, when you are looking for a new house you need a realtor. We were blessed to have found Vincent Kates with Keller Williams – Newtown. Vince is a charming man and from the beginning we felt like we had known him for years. He understood our needs for a single ranch style house and the limitations with area we had. Due to my husband’s health & multiple doctors, we had a specific area we were willing to move to. Vince was understanding and professional in showing us homes that matched our needs. Vince helped me close a house in 45 days, +/-. We met through a referred realtor of VU, and spoke for the first time on the week of October 20th. We closed the week of December 5th. Let me start off by saying that Vince completely turned around our home buying experience after working with a previous realtor who made the entire experience a negative one. Buying a home during a global pandemic was of course not easy but Vince was always available to talk and went above and beyond to look into properties for us. In searching for my second house, I wasn't sure want I wanted, but I was absolutely confident what I DID NOT want. With #vinceismyrealtor, I was able to be as involved in my search as I was comfortable (I'm a pretty hands-on person) and still be confident in receiving the support I needed to make informed decisions (I also tend to ask a lot of questions :-D). If i needed to buy another home, or even sell one, I would definitely reach out to #vinceismyrealtor first.

Vince was my second realtor in my search for a new home, the first seemed to have no interest in what I wanted. Vince listened to what I wanted and right away started looking for my house. Our hunt together started on 10/2, and yesterday on 11/30 I closed on the home that I know was meant to be mine. We looked at a total of 6 houses, Vince showed me homes that he knew I would like. All along the way Vince guided me down through the process, he has great business partners that made everything about buying a home a delight. He over communicates and is extremely knowledgeable on the entire buying process. I would highly recommend Vince to all of my friends and family. Did I mention that his natural charm and creativity put together an offer that beat 11 other offers! The house was only on the market for 3 days, and thanks to Vince, it’s mine!!!

If you need a realtor you need Vince. He helped us hunt for a house in 2021 which was a challenge with the fast market but he made it as easy and fun as possible. I felt fully supported by him throughout the entire process and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. He definitely sets you up for success which was so important for us as first-time buyers. He definitely wants the best for you and your family. Work with him he is magic at what he does.

As a Veteran and a First time Home Buyer, I was nervous about purchasing my first home especially during the Covid 19 Pandemic. Throughout the process there were moments of doubt and disbelief that a home purchase would not happen. Vincent Kates not only explained the process in terms that you can understand but was a positive force when we inevitably lost our first two offers. He will keep you positive throughout the process and even work for you when you are unable to put your entire focus on the purchase. He WILL put in the leg work and fight for you every step of the way. I will be purchasing my second house from him when the time comes. He’s your Guy!!!

Vincent was an extreme pleasure to work with. Me and my brother were looking for a home in a new city, while I was deployed in Japan. Even though the process was not easy, having to do everything virtually. Vincent made sure that our process was easy and convenient. He made a process that seemed nearly impossible such a feasible task. Vincent will always put your future happiness over just making a simple sale. Always giving knowledge about the future possibilities for a home and trying to get you into a home that is affordable and meets your standards. Vincent is the absolute best. We told him we wanted to move as soon as possible and he made it happen. We met him July 2nd and we put in an offer down the 5th. By the 7th we were in the pending stages. We were first time home owners so we knew NOTHING. He gave us options on who to use to inspect the house and even suggested we get AHS which will be a lifesaver Im sure. Thank you so much for not only making this experience painless, but making it fun. We will always appreciate Vincent for helping us find our dream home!

Buying a house is stressful - buying a house during a Pandemic is just crazy.  Unless you have Vince as your agent.  I can't begin to describe how amazing, thoughtful and thorough Vince was throughout the whole process.  If you are looking for a hands on agent one that is going to go above what is expected...Vince is your guy!  Vince's knowledge on the process for a Veteran is incredible.  I was so impressed and would and will highly recommend him to not only Veterans who are trying to navigate the complexities of a VA Mortgage but to anyone.  Putting my trust in Vince was the best decision I had made!!!

My husband has Multiple Sclerosis and since we live in a Philadelphia row house we have two sets of steps and we thought moving to a ranch style house with no steps would be a good idea. We were blessed to have found Vincent Kates with Keller Williams Newtown. Vince is a charming man and from the beginning we felt like we had known him for years. He understood our needs for a single ranch style house and the limitations with area we had. Due to my husbands health & multiple doctors, we had a specific area we were willing to move to. Vince was understanding and professional in showing us homes that matched our needs. We toured many homes and after months of looking realized that what was on the market, in our price range needed extensive updating. Vince was very understanding when we told him that we were pausing our search for a new home. If you are looking for a personable, knowledgeable, go the extra mile realtor you would be remiss if you do not contact Vince.
