I had the good fortune of being introduced to Viola Talia-Ferrow by my best friend. I had been searching for a home for over a year and was not satisfied with any of the homes I was shown. My friend raved, “You have to meet this woman, she is not your regular realtor. She goes above and beyond!” My friend had been helping her elderly neighbor clean, organize and discard of things in her home, as the home had just been sold. She said, ‘I was helping, and then the realtor showed up, with lunch for us and a burst of new energy…She’s warm, friendly, down-to-earth, and most of all she helped us get the place cleared!” That realtor was Viola.
Upon meeting Viola in 2011, I appreciated her energy, drive, devotion and thoroughness in the homebuying process. We explored a variety of possibilities of homes. She paid great attention to the features and “must-haves” that were important to me in a home. When my choices narrowed to two homes, we visited the areas, spoke to the residents of those areas, dined in the local restaurants and visited the schools my children would attend, should I decide to purchase. Overall, she wanted to make sure that as a mom of two small children, I was comfortable and confident in the decision I was making.
Working with Viola in this process was a defining moment in my life as purchasing a home is such a big step. She assisted me in making it happen! Purchasing a home afforded me the opportunity to have more space, be in a different, more harmonious environment, to be more comfortable and to prosper. At various times each year, she reached out (and continues to do so) to see how we have adjusted, how we were progressing and to see if she could assist us in anyway. Viola has been more than a realtor. She’s become family. I respect her as an experienced, competent, devoted, and thorough professional who has worked and has delivered above expectation. As a realtor, she did the best job possible to make homeownership a reality for me.

Mrs. Taliaferrow was a pleasure to work with from the onset (listing) to the end of the process (closing). My home was listed on a Wednesday and on Thursday two offers were received. My home and I were prepared well and ready for the task(s) ahead. Viola was receptive, responsive, and knowledgeable.

Viola showed tremendous initiative in contacting our family about a property that had been on the market for some time but had not sold. She helped us through a complex development process and facilitated the final sale very effectively. She worked well with a broad range of other parties. Her responsiveness was outstanding and I would recommend her highly for any real estate transaction.

Viola and hew sister May are pros. I started working with them over 5 years ago when another lawyer friend of mine recommended them --they ended up selling a house in Brooklyn that a client of my law firm had a difficulty time selling prior to their getting involved. Not only did they sell the property in a timely manner, but I believe they sold it for about 25% more than the prior broker tried selling it for.

Since then I have worked with them on a number of matters and have been equally impressed.

They are diligence and knowledge is evident when working with them. Not only that, they have are both creative thinkers in terms of how and to whom to market a property.

Simply put, I highly recommend them.

Viola was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was very patient and persistent in finding us a home, in the midst of a very difficult market. She also proactively raised potential concerns with prospective homes, so that we went through the process eyes wide open. Her willingness to assist with coordinating inspections, schedule showings on very limited notice, and research comps in the area made for a very professional experience. Finally, she is well connected in the area and has access to several reputable contractors, lenders, and attorneys. I'd highly recommend Viola and her team to anyone looking to purchase a home.

It has been a pleasure working with the Viola Taliaferrow Real Estate Team to sell my Brooklyn home. The team consisted of the Taliaferrow sisters, who worked as my seller's agent. They were highly referred by a respected friend. I was nervous about it being an overwhelming process and they made it easy for me, taking it one step at a time. From the first meeting I knew I wanted to work with them because they answered all my questions honestly and frankly, were professional and had many years of experience to support their ability to deliver the goods. From the taking of my beautiful house photos, to the respectful way they managed house showings, buyers' agents and appointments with the inspector and appraiser, they made it a smooth and easy process for me and everyone in the building. The Viola Taliaferrow Real Estate Team was always available by phone or text and regularly updated me on the progress of the house sale and advised me on any small repairs to take care of. When I asked for a real estate lawyer, a necessary part of this process, they recommended several qualified lawyers to choose from and I was happy with my choice. I received multiple offers within a couple of weeks, which produced a bidding war and a happy me, thanks to the Viola Taliaferrow Real Estate Team. Although I signed a six-month contract with the Viola Taliaferrow Real Estate Team the sale will complete in half the time! In just a few weeks I will be free to live the life I am ready to live!

So many wonderful things we can say about Viola, but none more important than the dedication that she gave into making sure we found exactly what we wanted!
We looked at multiple houses, and visited different areas and Viola was always available with any request we had.
