Wendy Byers

In 1989, Wendy's Mom started a gift/home decor store here in Rochester called The House of the Crafty Mouse. In 2000, she left her corporate career at Target to join her mom and felt so blessed to be following her genuine passion for helping people in this type of environment. In 2015 they decided to close our store, but she still gets continuously greeted with "Hey it's The Mouse!" everywhere she goes. She gets told how much they miss the store and what they call "The Mouse Experience." At The Mouse our employees were family, our customers were friends, and our store was home for a few minutes or a few hours to all who entered. They built this environment by putting our heart into it every day.
