About Whitney

Born in Sacramento, California, Whitney grew up in a real estate family, and was naturally drawn to the excitement of the business. Early memories as a child include “playing” business while her mother hosted Open Houses. She developed a passion for homes, design and the ever changing real estate industry. In 1991, Whitney earned her real estate license and subsequently completed her BA at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Whitney holds the prestigious Luxury Home Marketing Specialist Designation, Certified Residential Specialist Designation and is a Certified Distressed Property Expert. Whitney worked in Property Management on the Outer Banks for 6 years. She offers a wealth of information, support and guidance by combining her working knowledge of property management and home design with her personal Outer Banks Real Estate investment experiences. Having invested in various projects and owned homes in numerous Outer Banks communities, Whitney is uniquely qualified to offer a perspective that many competitors are unable to offer. It is her mission to assist her clients in realizing their dream of owning a home on the Outer Banks. Whether looking for a primary home, second home or simply a great place to invest, she is there to help. In her free time, Whitney enjoys time with family, gardening, running, reading, snorkeling, scuba diving and boating. She is also an avid volunteer in the community. She earned her Master Gardener designation in 2008. She is a former member of the Babe Ruth Board of Directors, Boy Scout Troop 117 Committee member and school volunteer.
