He earned a Batchelor’s Degree in Education from James Madison University which helped provide the solid background on which his career has been built.

His work ethic didn’t start in the real estate industry, but followed him from his past career; he was awarded the Top Teacher Award at his school and has been awarded the Top Producer Award at EXIT Professional Real Estate.

Bill is a member in good standing of the Fredericksburg Area Association of Realtors (FAAR), Virginia Association of Realtors (VAR), and the National Association of Realtors (NAR) in addition to the MRIS multiple listing service.

Bill feels that being a REALTOR is about more than joining professional associations; he believes REALTORS should be involved in the communities where they work as well. Bill has served his community in many capacities from being the captain of his local volunteer rescue squad to coaching youth league soccer, baseball, and basketball. He is also both a deacon and member of the Board of Directors of his church. He and EXIT Realty also support Habitat for Humanity, and to date they have donated over $2.25 million to the charity and built more than 15 Habitat Homes.

Bill understands the stresses and hassles involved in the buying, selling, and relocation process and he strives to alleviate these concerns for his clients as much as possible.
