About William

William Pecora has a strong background in sales. He grew up in New York and moved to Toms River, N.J., when he was a teenager. After high school, William spent a year working as an assistant manager for the Van Heusen shirt company. In 1999 William moved to Philadelphia to be a General Manager for fashion designer, Donna Karan. He was quickly tagged for advancement at Donna Karans corporate headquarters in New York City and was promoted to District Manager.

After several successful years, sales awards & management acknowledgements, William decided the 60 plus hour work weeks and endless hours commuting were taking its toll on family and social life. At that point he turned to Real Estate. In 2001 he procured his New Jersey real estate license and joined RE/MAX Real Estate, LTD. in Toms River. Since the beginning of his real estate career in 2001, William has steadily increased his market share.

In keeping to his personal commitment to continued education, in 2003 William completed the New Jersey requirements to receive his Broker™s License. In 2004 William made the decision to develop a team concept and the Pecora Team was born. Customers embraced the benefits of the multiple agent team and William has never looked back. In 2006 William completed the rigorous course work and received the highly coveted designation of Certified Residential Specialist. One of only 4% of Realtors to hold this designation nationwide.
