He is a full-time real estate broker with a broad range of real estate knowledge and experience in residential sales, investment properties, development projects, vacant land, and the local planning and zoning process. He has strong working relationships with surveyors, appraisers, mortgage brokers, and builders.
He was born and raised in Carmel, California, but spent all his summers on Crooked Lake. His grandparents had a cottage in Ponshewaing and his parents purchased a cottage in the '70s. William graduated from Boston College, where he received a BA in Sociology. After college William moved to San Diego to pursue a career in law enforcement. He worked for several years with the San Diego District Attorney's Office and volunteered with the El Cajon Police Department. In 2000 he went to graduate school and earned his Masters of Business Administration from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. He returned to Petoskey in 1999 and made his start in real estate in the fall of 2001. William married his wife, Alisa, in 2005 and they live on Crooked Lake with their daughter, Evelyn, and twins Max and Wesleigh. They enjoy staying active with sailing, boating, running, and snowboarding as favorite activities throughout the year.
