About Win

Win Morrison was born and raised right here in the Hudson Valley, growing up in Freehold. Besides his formal education, Win quickly learned that working hard paid big dividends. He was the sole owner of the Snowflake Ski Shop for a time, and has been an antique dealer for most of his adult life.

Win even sold automobiles to supplement his living expenses. Win Morrison spent many years as an IBM executive, based in the Former IBM Kingston facility. From this ideal vantage point, he observed how much the region had to offer and how its people and business community constantly fought back against economic limbo.

Long before he formed WMR, Win began to formulate ways to revitalize The Hudson Valley. Wherever Win worked, and in whatever field, he always worked with the public, finding his greatest satisfaction came from interacting with others. And so, the transition into real estate came naturally. Opening the Kingston office of WMR in 1982 was Win’s first step. Since then, the company has grown steadily in size, effectiveness and impact.

Win Morrison Realty now has seven offices to serve the region. Active with Multiple MLS (Multiple Listing Services) the company is pursuing its goal of becoming a truly regional firm serving the entire Hudson Valley from Albany to New York City. Win Morrison’s mission to help shape the future of the Hudson Valley, and to help enrich the lives of its communities, grows stronger every year.

I highly recommend Shelby Wilson if you are looking to purchase a home in the Hudson River Valley. She was outstanding and consistently went above and beyond for us. This was particularly important since we were not in the area during our search. We had frequent calls (emails, texts) with Shelby and toured a variety of homes via FaceTime. She always made time for us! I think Shelby's greatest attribute is that she is thorough and completely honest in her assessment of potential homes. She often found issues that were not obvious to us. In addition, she was a true advocate and went to bat for us on a few issues. Shelby provided excellent professional guidance during the entire purchase process; everything from initial offer to final walkthrough. Ultimately, we found the perfect home and we continue to be totally satisfied 6 months after our purchase. A big shout out to Shelby - we loved working with her.
