Zelda Heller

Since graduating from the University of Cape Town and emigrating to the United States in 1980, Zelda Heller has risen to the top of her field in real estate in the Washington metro area. Specializing in Washington, DC, and Maryland, she has consistently been in the top quarter of 1 percent of residential Realtors nationwide. Zelda joined Long and Foster Real Estate, and Christie's International in December 2015. Previously, she was the company-wide leader in sales volume for six consecutive years at TTR Sotheby's International Realty in Chevy Chase, MD.

Zelda was recently recognized by the Wall Street Journal and the Washington Business Journal for her listing and sale of the highest-priced condominium in the region.

Between 2000 and 2008, Zelda served on the Board of Directors for National Capital Bank. She became the first woman to hold a seat on the Board in the institution's 100-year history. Zelda's other roles include board membership at the Musical Theater Center, motivational speaking engagements, and her production of a benefit for the N.I.H. Children's Inn. In 2000, she co-authored "Deadly Truth", a historical novel set in apartheid-era South Africa.
