Commodore is a large, mixed-use neighborhood in San Jose, California, offering planned residential communities, commercial corridors and convenient commuter access. The neighborhood is home to the San Jose Flea Market, a longstanding regional attraction that draws large weekend crowds with retail vendors, food stands and entertainment. Retail and dining options are concentrated along major roads like Berryessa and McKee roads, while larger shopping centers are typically a short drive away. The area is served by multiple school districts, including Berryessa Union and East Side Union High, with additional options available through open enrollment policies.
