Named after the point where the Blanco River flows into the San Marcos River, Two Rivers East is a neighborhood of around 1,500 people that’s just 3 miles from Downtown San Marcos. With multiple apartment options, green space, a few restaurants and a Texas Department of Public Safety office, Two Rivers East is a renter’s community that equally caters to residents young and old alike. “We’re about 10 minutes away from Texas State University,” Country Oaks property manager Tanya Baskin says. “Some properties are dedicated to students only, while there’s a handful that has a combination of demographics.
