Homes for Rent in Valle Vista, Santa Fe

Valle Vista is a small community in central Santa Fe County, about 13 miles northeast of downtown Santa Fe. "Santa Fe has recently been heavily built up in this area," says David Horpedahl, a qualifying broker and owner of Los Alamos Properties. The location is convenient for commutes and travel as it's close to several highways. Interstate 25 and state Route 599 meet nearby, and to the east is state Route 14. That route, also known as the Turquoise Trail, is a national scenic byway stretching about 53 miles southwest to Albuquerque. The Santa Fe County /NM 599 Station, in the median of I-25, has more than 200 parking spaces. People can catch Rio Metro's New Mexico Rail Runner Express commuter train and there are fare-free buses and shuttles that link various job sites and points of interest. It's a purely residential subdivision; some streets have sidewalks, and others do not. More than half of the homes are owner-occupied.
