From my point of view the best parts of attending Monroe Comprehensive High School was the teacher/administrator involvement. No matter what everyone had at least one teacher or administrator they could openly talk to about anything. Majority of the students were able to find their teacher our freshmen year and just stuck to them. For me it was Mr.Thomas. Monroe has very down to earth teachers who make learning worth attending school daily. They find new ways to accommodate all students no matter the needs. To them it does not matter whether the student is in their class or not. They truly understand how to show compassion and understanding to all students. The worse part of my experience attending Monroe high school would be the food. Sometimes it isn't the best but it's always good and has a wide variety of options for every student. I only say it was the worst part because other things about the school are better. Such as the extracurricular activities like band,soccer and football.

To be honest, I love Monroe. They are really determined to give all of the students the best they can give us. They give us opportunities to show our talents and hard work. They may be strict but it's because they want the school to be a place of peace and learning environment. I really never had a bad experience at Monroe because I don't look for issues. Instead I focus on my academics. That's all I got to say about Monroe!

Monroe is a very powerful school for so many reason. For one the school is the first black school in Albany Georgia . Our principal "Mr. Polite " reminds us everyday to be patient, polite , prompt , prepared , present when coming to school . He is very concerned about our futures .

I don’t like this school. This schools is not good for special education and I actually have a learning disabilities because I don’t really don’t talk in school and it really bad for me to not to this school anymore. :(
