Cherokee is a wonderful school. My oldest child is autistic and he joined Cherokee in the middle of his 5th grade year. This was the only school (of many) to listen to my concerns and retain him like I had been requesting since he was in 1st grade. In that extra year, he grew immensely. I couldn't have been more thankful for the teachers and principle who listened to me and helped him grow that year and got him much more ready for middle school than he would've been the previous year. The staff is amazing and truly do love those kids.

This school has a “ZERO BULLYING POLICY” yet my son came home with bruises multiple times and was constantly bullied we talked to the teachers, the principal and anyone who would listen and no one did anything about it, his kindergarten class had 8 kids go to summer school which falls on the teacher...

My son attened Cherokee during 2008 - 2010. He had a phenomenal 2nd and 3rd grade teacher. However, his 4th grade teacher was very, very difficult to work with. The principal was no help at all.
