We've been a little disappointed with the kindergarten experience at Burchfield. It feels like there's an excessive push to have kindergarteners function in ways that are not developmentally appropriate. Lots of homework, assessments, and very rigid expectations. Teachers seem pretty "hands-off" in many respects as well. I think it's a reasonably nice district, but the kindergarten experience has given us pause.
