The best part is the community and how there are always people who will help you succeed. The worst part is the lack of student involvement.

I think I've had an overall great experience in this high school. The best parts of this school I'd say are the friends you make and get to have all throughout the 4 last year's of school. The teachers are amazing and I've made incredible bonds with a few of them. The worst parts I'd say is definitely the amount of drama but every school has drama so I can't complain. The things I'd like to see change is definitely seeing some more teachers who like to give lectures instead of having us read and just do work. I had a Spanish teacher who would speak for like 5 minutes then sit down and tell us we had to do 3 papers or worksheets on the iPad. That's probably my only complaint, but other then that this school is great.

Throughout my years at AHS, I have made many friendships with not only fellow classmates, but also the instructors. AHS is a friendly environment and as a great teaching staff.

Not too bad, could communicate better with the students.

Our experience was not good. The communication about events, tests and any issues is essentially non existent. We did not feel welcome as a family and our child certainly did not feel welcomed by the other students.

Of the three non-elementary schools, AHS impresses me the most. The main building is all new and is really nice. There are still a few older buildings (Ag, Music, Cafeteria) that need to be updated. Most teachers are okay, but not many that really standout and only a few that shouldn't be teaching....

This school does not prepare kids for college at all. A majority of the teachers here do not want to be there, granted there were some good ones that actually tried to push me academically. I was a Air Force transplant from Texas, the administration initially wanted to put me back a grade (I believe...
