the best part was learning how to play the piano. my worst part is not involving myself more in sports and activities like I wanted to and missing out on the fun experience.

The amount of after school activities and more clubs. I hope to see Altus High School also make the dress code fair to both genders.

Not too bad, could communicate better with the students.

Our experience was not good. The communication about events, tests and any issues is essentially non existent. We did not feel welcome as a family and our child certainly did not feel welcomed by the other students.

Of the three non-elementary schools, AHS impresses me the most. The main building is all new and is really nice. There are still a few older buildings (Ag, Music, Cafeteria) that need to be updated. Most teachers are okay, but not many that really standout and only a few that shouldn't be teaching....

This school does not prepare kids for college at all. A majority of the teachers here do not want to be there, granted there were some good ones that actually tried to push me academically. I was a Air Force transplant from Texas, the administration initially wanted to put me back a grade (I believe...
