My experience at Alvin High School has been good because of my involvement and activities. As one of the few African American students in my high school, it has not been easy to fit in, but I tried my best and made the best of the situation I possibly could. Overall, with the many things that I have been through, I would say my experience has taught me many things.

Though I have only been attending Alvin High School for 2 years, it has been nothing short of an adventure. Every day is super busy, there is never a dull moment. The extracurriculars are great.

Alvin High School isn't the most diverse school, nor does it do the most to prepare its students for college. Thus, students like myself have to do much more to prepare ourselves for the following chapters in our lives.

Alvin High School is not safe. It values the reputation of it employees over the safety, health, and well being of its students, especially if they are female. Please reconsider sending your children to this school. They will lie, shame, and blame you if something happens to your child on their camp...

I have two children graduate from Alvin High School. Both of them completed several of the excellent AP courses offered there, so I'm talking about the "smart kid" track. The oldest received a significant scholarship to the University of Texas at Dallas (not a bad school) and was well prepared for c...
