It's the best high school in idaho falls in my opinion. I love the teachers. There is some topical clicks, profanity, etc from some students, but overall is great.

Hillcrest is the only high school I have been to but it has been a bumpy ride throughout my four years. I have seen a lot of fights that would occur a lot more two years ago but it has been going away. Our school has finally learned some unity when coming to acceptance towards other peers. Which is something I love to see which even helps students academically as well. Even though our school has been became more positive we are financially not doing as well as we could be. We have heaters but not ac during the summer. Making the school days at the beginning of the school year feel super long. Hopefully someday they can have enough budget towards ac. Besides that it is an amazing school that is still improving even if it's little by little.

My experience with Hillcrest high school has been good. I have had a few teachers that I really liked but I had a lot that I really didn't like or that didn't teach well. The counselors aren't super helpful and a lot of times they act grouchy and mean to do their jobs. The culture, sports, and student involvement is very good at Hillcrest. They offer a good amount of dual credit classes which is great but I wish they had a few more elective options.

I don't know about the past, but we have been involved with our kids here the past 5 years. The American education system is struggling to be sure and some of those issues of apathy and attendance are issues at Hillcrest, but the principals, teachers, and support staff are better than you will find...

We were active duty military for many years and have been involved in many different schools over the years in many states and overseas. This is BY FAR the worst school we have encountered. This school is too overcrowded for the administration to have control over the student body. There was an inci...
