I don’t know how this school could be rated its current ratings on great schools. It is unsafely understaffed, the kindergarten classes do mostly worksheets- inappropriate for that age group. The principal is unprofessional and concerned with climbing the ladder. Special Ed is run terribly- they wil...

We love Island View elementary school! I have a second grader in the challenge class and a 5th Grader. The staff is amazing and caring. The academics are challenging as well. It has the most diversity in Anacortes. We will be moving and we will be very sad to leave this second family of ours.

This school is amazing. Every staff person that I have met is extremely caring and helpful. Parent involvement is welcomed and appreciated. My family is very happy to be a part of this school.
