I came on here and was surprised to see certain local schools ranked higher than Lawton when it's nearly impossible to get a spot in Lawton if you want to get in from another school zone or outside AAPS boundaries. We moved to Lawton for the school and couldn’t be happier with the quality of our kids teachers and the small knit community. We love everyone walking to school. Parents and teachers are really involved and dedicated. This is one of the best elementary schools in Ann Arbor.

We are a current family at Lawton but are considering moving after this year. This is our second year at Lawton and Lawton is our first school in A2 that we have attended. Lawton by far is the best elementary school in Ann Arbor. This will be our 3rd year at Lawton and I have been extremely impressed with the leadership of the school and the way they teach the students to all be leaders by example.
