I just adore Archbishop McCarthy High School. It's such a great school to study, and the teachers are so nice and supportive. I wish I felt safe and accepted. I have made friends, and there are lots of enjoyable activities, sports, and clubs. I like that it's a school that helps me become a better Christian, too. I'm happy to be a student here and a Maverick.

I have had a lot of fun at this school! They have helped me in my preparation for college and I am excited for what new facilities are to come from them.

Best: - Very Clean School - Very Diverse - Lots of Courses to Choose From - Prepares well for college Worst: - Students are very cliquey and rude, everyone is like the same person over and over again. - Creatives have very little support. - Frequent leaving teachers, especially in the math and religion departments. - School lunch is very expensive. Almost $6 for a sandwich. - Retreat opportunities cut out a lot of students. - Always plugged into the iPad.

I graduated from STA but my daughter wanted to attend Archbishop, and its much closer to our home. She is doing so well there, and even though the Excelsior Scholars program is so rigorous that she does have moments of exhaustion and irritation, there is no other place she would rather attend school...
