Bowie is a good school. Once I had a concern about a teacher and it was address almost immediately. I had one more recently and it didn't get addressed as fast but it was in regards to a club with the wrong teacher leadership.

I am a senior at James bowie high school in Arlington. Throughout my four years of going here I definitely think the education levels could be raise more because we're not a smart school. If you look at the stats it would tell you that there is a majority of students that is under college readiness and I'm one of those people based off my sat and act score. What would help if we had more teacher that had interactive lesson where the students aren't getting bored of the class. Of course there are some teacher in school like that but not many so think it will be really good to more more teachers willing to that so students understand and are ready to go to college by time they graduate.

Bowie High School is not a good school at all. And the more years put into it, it has gotten worse. There are almost 0 good teachers anymore. They've all been driven out by the terrible students and staff. I am a student here. So I know firsthand how bad it truly is. All the funding is gone to footb...

My daughter is starting 9th grade. While other schools are happy to assist with registration and last minute questions, I can’t get anyone at the school to pick up the telephone. I can tell already that it’s going to be horrible reaching the admin and staff.

I give 1 star.. I am extremely disappointed in this district for their failure the last 2 years. My child has been stuck in same grade going on yr 3 because they have a terrible staff.
