Some people may find this a disadvantage but I really enjoyed how small the school of Arp is. In my senior class there is only 60 students which makes everyone closer together. It makes it easy to participate in many different sports all at once even though you may not be the most athletic person there. The students are very connected to the teachers and they are always willing to help out in any way. Arp high school however does not have very many career development or college credit classes which can make the work load during college a bit higher than some other schools.

It is a small school, around 200-300 students in the high school, therefore there can be lots of great connections with teachers. The teachers are supportive and caring. There are several dual credit opportunities available and an AP calculus class as well. Some of the teachers should not be teaching, and the school really lacks great communication skills. Overall, very good education with kind teachers.

I really enjoyed all of the wonderful people I have got to meet and become friends with. Over the years of going to Arp Independent School District I enjoyed the teachers, the learning experience, the amazing extracurricular activities we have, and the amazing people that go and work here. The teachers and people are friendly and are always ready to help you when you do not understand something and will sit with you one on one to help you understand and help you get it right.
