My time at Lee-Scott Academy since the 5th grade has been great with the best moment being practicing with the varsity soccer time in the 6th grade. The worst part of my experience is seeing how the science department doesn't have many resources which limits some outstanding teacher abilities which I would love to see changed in the future.

Small classroom. Good people. No diversity. Need more electives. Classes get pretty dull after 4th year of high school.

It's a college prep school, so there is a lot of focus on ACT and AP scores. Some teachers really care about the students. There is no diversity, and politics are a huge part of attending the school and actually enjoying it. If you're looking for a school in Auburn, go to Auburn High, not LSA.

Our children have enjoyed attending LSA for their High school years. They have been able to engage in sports, extra curricular activities and wonderful course selections that pivoted their resumes for college which we are thankful for. Some of my worst memories are at this school. If you're folks are affluent and you are relatively well-adjusted, maybe it's for you. If you are being abused and neglected at home, you won't feel welcome here either.
