As someone in the LGBT community, I did not feel safe a lot of the time. LU claims there's a zero tolerance policy, yet, when bullying was reported, nothing was done about it. They care more about their athletics than anything else and it shows in their academics, fine arts programs, and even their food and facilities that AREN'T athletics-related.

I like that the CCP program was offered. I did not like that lack of schedule flexibility and options for gifted students.

I've gone to Liberty Union from kindergarten all the way through senior year. It's a generic high school, but with certain perks. I've only met one teacher that I didn't truly like; the teachers and administration truly are there for you and helpful, but you have to allow yourself to be helped. Since it's such a small school, you create many close bonds and friendships that I don't think you could make anywhere else. Liberty Union truly is something else, and I mean that in the best way possible.

Terrible school district after going for 10 years I can definitely say with all of my experience, never enroll your children here pick another school. Everything about the school is terrible except there's a few chill teachers.

The academics are good. Athletic programs are run, by parents, These parents live in the community. So if your good friends with them. Then your family plays more. My kid is just as good and even better an barely plays.
