For a small school, it is overall pretty good. The community is very supportive of all activities. The facilities are very good and relatively new. There is a bit too much focus on sports compared to other academic activities, which is annoying at times, although all are very successful in recent years.

Bangor has not been without it's share of challenges in recent years. Slowly declining enrollment along with limited funding makes it hard to compete with other neighboring, larger schools. Bangor School District is pathetic. They do absolutely nothing with the bullying. As a concerned parent i see nothing is being done. I have brought this up to the principal and to teachers.
