Baraga area schools is amazing. They have gone above and beyond for creating a safe space for not only my child but all of the children that attend their school. They provide ample resources and truly do what is best for the child. I could not have asked for a better school system for our son.

It was a close knit community, however the quality of the education I received was far behind those from a bigger school, just 30 miles away. They could use newer text books and better learning techniques.

Most extracurriculars involve sports, we do not have a large number of clubs or organizations to choose from. There are after-school programs for elementary age kids not so much for high-school level other than tutoring. Administration is typically supportive of what kids try to do.
