GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I have attended Bastrop High school for my four years of high school. It has been very fun,I feel safe as well. The teaching environment is well.

My overall experience with Bastrop High School is good, I made new friends, I made the varsity cheer team, I like the school spirit, and most of all I really like that we have supportive teachers

While I am proud to be a Bastrop High School Alumnus, I would not recommend the school to anyone who has a choice whether to go it not. Bastrop, Louisiana is a very poor area, and it is reflected in the school system. There simply just are not enough monies available to properly educate students and prepare them for the next level.

Bastrop High is a pathetic school. The whole school system in Bastrop LA is pathetic because it is run by stupid people. Advanced placement kids went a whole year without a teacher. The principal is never there. The school is filthy. The superintendent doesn't care about the system or the kids. The...

Unfortunately I have three kids that go here as I really have no other choice. A school especially a high school is a microcosim of the community in which iit is located. Bastrop is a small town consisting mostly of hypocritical "Sunday" Christians intolerant of the religious and non religious views...

Seriously, Why not slap a NUN in the door and be done with it? You want to be religious and all, brother please!

I'm obviously not going to rate a school that both encouraged and then failed to stop (knowing full well that it was planned) to stop unconstitutional prayer during graduation. This kind of negligence costs tax payers millions of dollars every year! Its a waste of time and resources and is completel...
