Bath Elementary School, serving third through fifth grade students, provides young Fairlawn students with a tailored academic experience.
The school received the National Blue Ribbon School award in 2018 and a science, technology, engineering and mathematics designation, or STEM, in 2019.
The curriculum focuses on English, math, science and social studies. The school offers programs for gifted students, hands-on math programs and reading comprehension.
The original 1920s-era school building was torn down in 2019. A new three-story, state-of-the-art facility was built behind the previous school site. The current building was designed for modern classrooms, with retractable walls that can be moved to create shared learning spaces. The campus also has an outdoor classroom and a school garden. To promote technology use, students are assigned an iPad and teachers use iPads and Macbooks for instruction.

We had three kids go through there and each of them received the attention needed. One of our kids is special needs and the school was so accommodating of her needs. The principal at the time, now gone, was THE BEST principal I have ever met.

Reviewer from June 2014 must be talking about some other school. Our kids went to this school this year for the first time, and it was just opened (or replaced technically). Construction issues were a problem all year as the contractor(s) never really got things 100% completed. We heard the teachers...

Worst school. Principal is not qualified to lead this school. Pulled straight A students out of district after bullying concerns were not addressed.
