As a sophomore, my first year here has been amazing! Overall, North is a nice school with lots of culture and great academics.

Belvidere North High School is overall a good school. Staff is all very professional and kind. A lot of teachers dont make connections with students which is fine, but the ones that do make a connection are the ones I will remember most. Sports, clubs, safety, music, and everything like that is overall pretty good. The thing this school struggles with the most is college readiness. There are no finals or midterms and the test retake policy will not prepare you for college at all.

Belvidere North High School will always have a special place in my heart. I met my friends for life and fell in love with the school culture. However, this school does not prep students well for college. With easy access to test retakes, it is hard to gage the importance of studying for a test.

Belvidere North has a huge variety of courses, students who work hard, large mental health support, and teachers who clearly know what they're doing. This school is by far the best I've ever attended.
