There are a lot of things wrong with this school, but I'll focus on my main two because other reviews seem to have already covered some of my points. A couple years ago, we transitioned to having free lunches because we have so many low-income students in our school district, and I would be doing them a service by calling it "food". The portions are too small for even an elementary school student and the "food" itself is disgusting. Also, the only free beverage option is milk, and when I was there, it was often spoiled and undrinkable. Also, I don't believe most of their students are prepared for success in college at all. I wouldn't say that applying for scholarships is discouraged, but not a lot of assistance is given other than supplying non-seniors with big scholarship websites that mainly just do sweepstakes. I also did several summer programs at colleges when I was in high school, but I had to find them all on my own.
