Worcester Preparatory School is a place filled to the brim with intellectuals and people striving to do their best and beyond. The teachers have a very in-depth and close connection to their students, and everyone has an overall uplifting spirit. While kids joke around and complain, there is nowhere they'd rather be.

I loved my whole highschool experience at Worcester. The teachers, academics and sports were all very diverse. Getting ready for college was a top priority and they made it very possible to get into the school of your choice.

The school needs a complete overhaul from the top down. All great schools have great forward thinking leaders. This school is in need of a 21st century leader that will change the culture and morale of the school. The curriculum and teaching methods are from years past.

I have multiple children at this school. It utilizes a traditional education emphasizing the 3 Rs; this school is for a certain type of student and will not fit all comers. They are about two grade levels ahead of the local public schools with some students advanced beyond this for reading and math....

This school lives in 80s. Desperately needs new leadership to completely revamp all the old thinking.

Thirteen years completed this year with first child graduating and attending Wake Forest University. Three more children in the school and the experience only gets better every year.

As a graduate and current parent, WPS offers an intimate and supportive school environment where classes are small so individual attention may be provided to all. I can't imagine where I would be without WPS and I am grateful to be able to offer my children the same opportunity.
